At Grey Bruce Tree Workers, we specialize in providing top-quality post hole digging services tailored to meet the needs of farmers in Grey, Bruce, and Huron counties.
Whether you’re planning to install fencing or a large structure requiring post holes, our team is equipped to deliver precise and efficient solutions.

Initial Consultation – Contact us to book your post hole digging service. To help us serve you efficiently, please mark or spray-paint the exact spots where you’d like the post holes placed.
Payment – There is a $350 minimum charge, which must be paid in full before we arrive on-site. This fee covers our time, travel, and equipment, and it applies whether or not drilling is successful. If we encounter rock, roots, or other ground conditions that prevent us from completing the holes, the minimum charge still applies.
Digging – Using specialized equipment, we drill holes to the required depth and diameter.
PLEASE NOTE – Our service covers digging exclusively. Materials such as posts, poles, and concrete are not included.
We drill holes in two standard sizes—8 inches and 12 inches wide—to depths of up to 4 feet, providing strength below the frost line and full compliance with code. Common uses include:
Fencing – large-scale commercial or agricultural fencing.
Outbuildings – foundation posts for sheds or barns.
Retaining Walls – posts to anchor plank-style retaining walls.

We use compact mini skid-steer-mounted augers, allowing us to operate efficiently in tight spaces without compromising on power or precision.
Our mini skid steer can navigate through gates and narrow spaces inaccessible to larger machinery.
